Eigenschaften und Anwendung<\/strong><\/p>\n

Die Mangelern\u00e4hrung stellt eine zentrale Herausforderung in der Seniorenverpflegung dar. Die K\u00fcche kann einen hohen Beitrag zur Pr\u00e4vention und Therapie einer Mangelern\u00e4hrung leisten! Denn in erster Linie muss das Essen schmecken und viele N\u00e4hrstoffe liefern.<\/p>\n

\u00dcberdurchschnittlich betroffen von Mangelern\u00e4hrung sind Menschen mit Kau- und Schluckst\u00f6rungen (Dysphagie). <\/strong><\/p>\n

Bei der Mangelern\u00e4hrung unterscheidet man zwischen der quantitativen (Unterversorgung an Energie) und der qualitativen (Fehlern\u00e4hrung) Mangelern\u00e4hrung. Wenn einmal diagnostiziert, k\u00f6nnen beide Formen durch entrichtende Umstellung der Ern\u00e4hrung therapiert werden. H\u00e4ufig treten beide Formen der Mangelern\u00e4hrung zusammen auf. Wird die Mangelern\u00e4hrung nicht behandelt, steigt das Sterblichkeitsrisiko.<\/p>\n

Bei einer quantitativen Mangelern\u00e4hrung ist Energieanreicherung von Speisen und Getr\u00e4nken sinnvoll. Hier kommen Maltodextrine<\/strong> wie unser MALTOplus<\/strong> zum Einsatz, da sie sehr gut l\u00f6slich und weitestgehend geschmacksneutral sind. Maltodextrin <\/strong>ist ein Kohlenhydratgemisch, welches umgehend verstoffwechselt wird und so zu einem \u201eEnergieschub\u201c bei den Betroffenen f\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n

Sollte eine quantitative Mangelern\u00e4hrung vorliegen, so sind hochwertige Proteine<\/strong> wie das PROTEINplus<\/strong> das Mittel der Wahl. Man sollte dabei darauf achten, dass man m\u00f6glichst ein Proteinisolat wie das PROTEINplus<\/strong> verwendet, weil nur diese \u00fcber die notwendige biologische Wertigkeit verf\u00fcgen.<\/p>\n

Das PROTEINplus<\/strong> ist geschmacksneutral und hervorragend l\u00f6slich \u2013 sowohl in kalten als auch in warmen Speisen und hat es einen Proteingehalt von ca. 85 %.<\/p>\n

Im Rahmen des Ern\u00e4hrungskonzeptes smoothfood<\/strong>, welches auf passierten und oder fl\u00fcssigen\/verfl\u00fcssigten Lebensmitteln basiert und sich an Menschen mit Kau- und Schluckst\u00f6rungen (Dysphagie)<\/strong> richtet, kann der Einsatz von Maltodextrin<\/strong> und Protein<\/strong> eine sinnvolle Erg\u00e4nzung sein.<\/p>\n

Zusammen mit den Bindemitteln<\/strong> und Verdickungsmitteln, <\/strong>die die Herstellung von hochwertigen, konsistenz-adaptierten Speisen das Essen f\u00fcr bei Kau- und Schluckst\u00f6rungen (Dysphagie) <\/strong>erm\u00f6glichen, k\u00f6nnen die Speisen durch den Einsatz MALTOplus <\/strong>und oder PROTEINplus<\/strong> hochkalorisch gemacht werden.<\/p>\n

Anwendung: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Die t\u00e4gliche Gesamtmenge PROTEIN<\/em>plus<\/strong> richtet sich nach dem individuellen Proteinbedarf des Betroffenen und der g\u00fcltigen Di\u00e4tvorschrift.<\/p>\n

Je nach Eiwei\u00dfbedarf in kalte und\/oder warme Speisen und Getr\u00e4nke einr\u00fchren. Ein geh\u00e4ufter Essl\u00f6ffel (ca. 5 g) entspricht ca. 4,3 g hochwertigem Eiwei\u00df.<\/p>\n
